The DCNGO Delegation to the Global Fund Board is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Constituency Focal Point (CFP) to support the Delegation and its representatives on the Global Fund Board and Committees.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Constituency Focal Point is the central coordination and support role for the DCNGO Delegation and works closely with the Board Member, Alternate Board Member, Delegation Leadership Team and wider constituency.
The CFP supports the Delegation’s engagement with the Global Fund Board and Committees, coordinates communications and consultations, provides analysis and briefing support, manages meetings and logistics, and oversees key administrative, financial, work-planning and resource mobilisation functions. The role also serves as an important link between the Delegation, the Global Fund Secretariat and other Board constituencies.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong experience working with civil society organisations and networks;
- A good understanding of the Global Fund and its principles, values and mission;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Experience in governance, policy, advocacy, programme or financial management;
- Strong organisational, coordination and relationship-management skills;
- The ability to work diplomatically and strategically with people across different countries, cultures and time zones;
- Experience in HIV, TB, malaria, health, human rights, gender or development;
- Experience with communications, including websites and social media.
Experience working on human rights, gender and justice issues, particularly in relation to Global Fund programmes, would be an advantage.
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
- Location: Remote/virtual, with international travel. Candidates based in a lower-income country are preferred.
- Level of effort: Minimum 25 hours per week, with periods of increased workload around Board and Committee meetings.
- Contract: Annual consultancy contract, reviewed and negotiated annually.
- Remuneration: Based on available funding, qualifications, experience and location.
