OIG audits and reports
The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) safeguards the assets, investments, reputation and sustainability of the Global Fund by ensuring that it takes the right action to accelerate the end of AIDS, TB and malaria as epidemics.
The OIG reports on all its activities in the interests of transparency and accountability. All the results of its work are published on the Global Fund website in line with the disclosure policy outlined by the Board. These are very important for civil society organisations working in country with Global Fund national structures as a great deal of information is published that might be essential for national advocacy. See the Audits & Investigations and Board Documents pages for published reports.
The OIG is independent of the Global Fund Secretariat and reports directly to the Board through its Audit and Finance Committee.
