Lilebo Faith Thipe (Botswana) is a Political Science & Public Administration University of Botswana graduate, a 2022 SUSI ALUMNI and a dynamic and passionate youth activist who advocates for the meaningful engagement and participation of young people in decision-making platforms and access to universal youth friendly health services. Lilebo sits on the Botswana Country Coordinating Mechanism as a representative for the Youth Constituency (AGYW) with over 5 years of voluntary work & working in the advocacy and development space. In recognition of her exceptional work, Faith has been a recipient of several awards & nominations; including the 2020 and 2021 Adolescents and Activism Awards. Faith has worked with a range of international organizations, including Y+ Global, Stepping Stones International, SRHR Africa Trust, Girleada, Y+ Global, UN Women, Africa CDC to mention a few. Through her work with these organizations, she has been able to make a significant impact on the lives of young people, advocating for their rights, access to health services and promoting their meaningful engagement in decision-making processes and platforms of influence.
