Cecilia Lodonu-Senoo is an experienced Ghanaian public health nurse, midwife, social worker, human rights and gender advocate. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Hope for Future Generations (HFFG), one of the leading NGOs in HIV, TB and Malaria implementors in Ghana. Cecilia is a steering Committee member and Co-chair of GFAN International and GFAN Africa, she uses these platforms to engage the civil society organizations as a constituency in domestic resource mobilization and health system strengthening. Through her leadership for meaningful change, her organization has partnered with several donors (national and internationally) in making socio-economic and healthcare impact in communities across Ghana. Her aim is to uplift the image of women and girls through transformational processes that will empower and put them in the limelight of social development and decision-making. Cecilia is a Board Member of the Developing Country NGO Delegation to the Global Fund and a technical committee member of CS4ME, very strategic platforms where she advocates for policies that will contribute to meaningful health initiatives in developing countries and provide adequate resources for sustainable health operations. Cecilia was the first woman to lead the Country Coordinating Mechanism in Ghana. During her time on the CCM, she ensured young people in their diversity participated actively in the Global Fund process and contribute to policies that affect their lives. Cecilia led the development of Community Systems Strengthening (CSS) Strategy for Ghana with the support from EANNASO and the Global Fund Community Rights and Gender Department that enabled Ghana to access a standalone CSS grant from the Global Fund.
