The new report highlights major progress in the fight against AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria – but warns that without renewed commitment and investment, decades of hard-won gains could unravel. The Global Fund’s 8th Replenishment is critical to keep the world on track toward ending these deadly diseases. Here are some of the highlights:
- 70 million lives saved since the Global Fund was created
- 63% reduction in death rates from HIV, TB, and malaria
- 25+ million people are now on HIV treatment supported by the Global Fund
- TB treatment coverage at 75% in eligible countries, the highest ever
- Millions of families are protected from malaria through nets and prevention tools
The 2025 Results Report a testament to what can be achieved when the full Partnership of the Global Fund works together. It is also a call to action, to build on what we have done. We cannot stop now.
