The Global Fund has recently launched a new microsite that illustrates how the Global Fund partnership is making the world healthier and safer by reinforcing global health security. The new site is a key advocacy tool to support their 8th Replenishment efforts by showcasing why fighting infectious diseases is in all our interests.
As we all know, fighting HIV, TB and malaria while strengthening health systems is one of the most effective ways for countries to prepare for future pandemics. The new platform is structured around the four key phases of infectious disease spread: Index Case; Localized Outbreak; Epidemic, and Pandemic. It’s a simple framework designed to help people understand how epidemics unfold, and where and how the Global Fund invests at each stage to break the chain of infection.
They have prioritized clear language, and included data and real-world examples to help connect the dots between our investments and the impact on communities.
